Q: The item page says "Add to Wishlist" but not "Add To Cart" - how do I place my order?
A: If an item page says "Add to Wishlist" it is not presently active on our website.  We may not have the item.  There is a chance we may have the item available from other sources, but you will need to contact us to inquire about the possibility of of our company filling the order for you.

Q: Certain pages of the website with multiple items say "Add to Cart" underneath some items, but not other items.
A. Only items ready for sale are listed on the website with the option to "Add to Cart" while other items may not be ready for sale or in stock for sale.  If you can't find the item you are looking for, please contact us and explain your specific needs to us so that we can find a perfect solution for you.

Q: How can I pay for my order?
A: From your shopping cart, select "check out", enter your account information and select "continue" to view your invoice. Select "pay now". You will be forwarded to PayPal. Scroll down the page to select the type of payment. PayPal will process your payment. You DO NOT need a PayPal account to use this feature.

Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.

Q: Why can't I ship an item to my address using the service I choose?
A: Shipping is not always perfect, but we are confident we can work it out in most cases.  If you encounter a problem with shipping your order, please contact us and we will give your case our best personal attention.

Q: How can I quickly contact Laboratory Optical Service for assistance?
A: We are a microscope sales and service company.  Many days we are out of the office serving customers within our service area, primarily the Eastern United States of America.  If you will email us your question and contact information, we will try to reply by email or phone as soon as possible.  Sometimes we will have to return to our office or warehouse before we can give you a definite answer.  Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Q: How can I pay for an item on your website?
A: PayPal is our payment processor for all forms of payment. As you check out, you will be sent to PayPal's payment page where you may choose from different payment methods. You DO NOT need a PayPal account to check out and pay for your order on our site.  We have no issues with PayPal as a processor, however, if your transaction will not work please contact us and we will work with you to find a solution.
